THE HOTEL

Hotel with view on the lagoon

The Hotel Gabrielli is a traditional family run Grand Hotel since 1856. Right in the historical center of Venice, the palazzo of the 14th century is arranged with historical Venetian furniture. Throughout the house you will see beautiful hand made Murano glass chandeliers blown by the artist Archimede Seguso. Ancient marble decorates the walls, reception hall and the bar. Typical Venetian cuisine is served in our “Restaurant Gabrielli” on the waterfront terrace or in the relaxing romantic courtyard. A little jewel is the enchanting garden, an ideal place for a rest after a day in Venice.
In the year 1913 Franz Kafka wrote a love letter from Hotel Gabrielli to his fiancée Felice Bauer. We are proud of being abe to show Kafka’s hand written worlds on Hotel Gabrielli’s letter paper.
Ideal location for visiting the Biennale of Art or of Architecture.
The hotel offers meeting rooms for conventions in Venice and for private occasions, weddings and informal get together. Not to be missed is the breathtaking view from the roof terrace over the city and lagoon of Venice. You can arrive by boat at our private boat pier.
